Simulating control of lower-limb prosthetics. Rehabilitation and prosthetics.

General objectives and main activities
During the thesis work conducted within the Soft Robotics for Human Cooperation and Rehabilitation laboratory, the student will use a simulation tool (mainly MuJoCo) to implement the virtual model of an active ankle-foot lower limb prosthesis capable of varying the ankle joint stiffness. The created simulation environment will be used to implement and test an ankle control strategy to vary the stiffness and torque similarly to a sound leg.
