Description
Motivation and application domain
This project aims to investigate how electroencephalographic (EEG) indicators of motor learning describe robotic-assisted laparoscopy (RAL) expertise and if they change with performance improvement during RAL training sessions.
General objectives and main activities
O1: Identify the neural correlates of motor learning in expert surgeons and their relations with RAL performance.
O2: Assess how EEG changes with performance improvement in novice surgeons
O2: Assess how EEG changes with performance improvement in novice surgeons
Training Objectives (technical/analytical tools, experimental methodologies)
EEG and performance data analysis
