Description
Motivation and application domain
The investigation of the computational properties of the cortical-hippocampal circuit is of great importance in the coding properties of the brain.
In this work, the student will develop a computational model of the cortical-hippocampal network driven by the experimental findings achieved by in vitro recordings.

General objectives and main activities
In this work, the student will develop a computational model of the cortical-hippocampal network driven by the experimental findings achieved by in vitro recordings in order to understand which kind of connectivity principles rule the network dynamics.
Training Objectives (technical/analytical tools, experimental methodologies)
- Development of large-scale network models
- Use of Matlab/Python for modeling large-scale networks
