Little is known about the causes and/or
consequences of a loss of criticality, and its
relationship with brain diseases.

General objectives and main activities
1. Develop ex novo or adapt from the
literature a large-scale cortical model with
peculiar topological features.
2. Characterize the dynamics of cortical nets,
mimicking diffuse or confined strokes
3. Simulating phenomena of synaptogenesis
and neurogenesis
